Compared to last week: Slaughter bulls and cows sold mostly steady. Feeder steers sold 2.00 - 5.00 higher, feeder heifers sold 3.00 - 6.00 higher, and feeder bulls sold 3.00 - 8.00 higher. Trade active with very good demand on feeder cattle. Replacement cattle sold steady to firm, best demand on bred cows with a high of $2600.
Supply included: 77% Feeder Cattle (48% Steers, 38% Heifers, 13% Bulls); 13% Slaughter Cattle (88% Cows, 12% Bulls); 10% Replacement Cattle (25% Stock Cows, 63% Bred Cows, 7% Bred Heifers, 4% Cow-Calf Pairs). Feeder cattle supply over 600 lbs was 27%.
