Compared to two weeks ago: Slaughter cattle sold 1.00 to 4.00 higher with high yielding boning cows up to 81. Feeder steers and bulls sold steady to 2.00 higher, feeder heifers sold 2.00 to 4.00 higher. Trade active with good demand on feeder cattle. Replacement cattle lightly tested.
Supply included: 84% Feeder Cattle (17% Steers, 48% Heifers, 35% Bulls); 13% Slaughter Cattle (86% Cows, 14% Bulls); 3% Replacement Cattle (100% Stock Cows). Feeder cattle supply over 600 lbs was 18%.
