Compared to one week ago: Slaughter cows sold 1.00 to 4.00 higher with high yielding boning cows up to 81, slaughter bulls sold steady to 2.00 lower. Feeder steers sold 1.00 to 3.00 lower, feeder bulls and heifers sold steady to 2.00 lower. Trade active with good demand on feeder cattle. Replacement cattle sold mostly steady.
Supply included: 88% Feeder Cattle (11% Steers, 45% Heifers, 44% Bulls); 8% Slaughter Cattle (91% Cows, 9% Bulls); 4% Replacement Cattle (44% Stock Cows, 44% Bred Cows, 12% Cow-Calf Pairs). Feeder cattle supply over 600 lbs was 19%.
