Compared to one week ago: Slaughter cattle sold unevenly steady. All feeder classes sold sharply higher. Trace active with very good demand on feeder cattle. Replacement cattle sold mostly steady.
Supply included: 77% Feeder Cattle (18% Steers, 38% Heifers, 45% Bulls); 7% Slaughter Cattle (87% Cows, 13% Bulls); 15% Replacement Cattle (87% Bred Cows, 13% Bred Heifers). Feeder cattle supply over 600 lbs was 13%.
