Compared to two weeks ago: Feeder steers sold sharply higher, feeder heifers sold 2.00 to 3.00 higher, feeder bulls sold 6.00 to 8.00 higher. Slaughter cows sold 4.00 to 6.00 higher, slaughter bulls sold 3.00 higher. Replacement cows and pairs sold mostly steady.
Supply included: 73% Feeder Cattle (16% Steers, 54% Heifers, 30% Bulls); 24% Slaughter Cattle (92% Cows, 8% Bulls); 3% Replacement Cattle (20% Bred Cows, 80% Cow-Calf Pairs). Feeder cattle supply over 600 lbs was 25%.
