Compared to last week: Comparable trades of steers under 400 lbs were too lightly tested for a market comparison. Steers 400 - 650 lbs sold 8.00 to 12.00 higher, 650 - 750 lbs sold 1.00 higher and over 750 lbs traded 3.00 to 8.00 lower. Heifers from 500 - 700 lbs sold 2.00 to 6.00 higher, and heifers over 700 lbs sold mostly 1.00 to 5.00 lower. Demand ranged from moderate to very good.
Supply included: 98% Feeder Cattle (61% Steers, 39% Heifers, 0% Bulls); 2% Slaughter Cattle (100% Cows). Feeder cattle supply over 600 lbs was 70%.
