Several of this week’s consignments usually sell in late summer but with dry grass conditions, especially in the Sandhills ranchers decided to sell and try to save grass for pairs and for hay production. Some of the yearling feeders came from early summer grass with some out of backgrounding lots. Feedlots sold cash live sales 4.00 higher at 124.00 and dressed sales 4.00 to 5.00 higher at 195.00.

Supply included: 92% Feeder Cattle (48% Steers, 52% Heifers); 6% Slaughter Cattle (100% Cows); 2% Replacement Cattle (13% Bred Cows, 87% CowCalf Pairs). Feeder cattle supply over 600 lbs was 81%.
