Market Notes

Compared to last week, breaker and boning cows gauging 1.00 higher with lean cows 3.00 to 6.00 higher, and slaughter bulls 6.00 to 9.00 higher. No comparisons available for feeder classes due to limited comparable receipts from last week, however, a higher undertone was noted. Increased buyer activity was also noted due, in part, to the Customer Appreciation event held during today's sale.

Supply included: 82% Feeder Cattle (19% Steers, 1% Dairy Steers, 45% Heifers, 36% Bulls); 17% Slaughter Cattle (88% Cows, 12% Bulls); 1% Replacement Cattle (100% Bred Cows).
