Compared to last week, breaker and boning cows gauging 1.00 to 5.00 higher overall, with lean cows 4.00 to 9.00 lower, and slaughter bulls 4.00 to 9.00 lower. No comparisons available for feeder classes due to limited comparable receipts, however, a lower undertone was noted. Lighter demand overall was noted due to observance of the Labor Day Holiday weekend.

Supply included: 81% Feeder Cattle (17% Steers, 2% Dairy Steers, 51% Heifers, 30% Bulls); 16% Slaughter Cattle (74% Cows, 26% Bulls); 3% Replacement Cattle (50% Bred Cows, 50% Cow-Calf Pairs). Feeder cattle supply over 600 lbs was 38%.
