Compared to last week, feeder steers were mostly steady to 2.00 higher, and feeder heifers were steady to 3.00 higher. Feeder cattle were in mostly moderate to good demand, with buyers showing the best demand for long-weaned (45+ days), preconditioned cattle. Slaughter cows and bulls were mostly steady with moderate demand.

Supply included: 83% Feeder Cattle (35% Steers, 0% Dairy Steers, 45% Heifers, 20% Bulls); 10% Slaughter Cattle (84% Cows, 16% Bulls); 7% Replacement Cattle (4% Stock Cows, 84% Bred Cows, 1% Bred Heifers, 8% Cow-Calf Pairs, 4% Heifer Pairs). Feeder cattle supply over 600 lbs was 36%.
