Compared to last week, feeder steers and heifers were mostly 4.00-5.00 lower with instances sharply lower. Trade was moderate and demand was moderate at best. Buyers continue to show the strongest interest in long-weaned (45+ days), preconditioned feeder cattle. Slaughter cows and bulls were mostly steady to 2.00 lower.

Supply included: 76% Feeder Cattle (35% Steers, 0% Dairy Steers, 44% Heifers, 21% Bulls); 16% Slaughter Cattle (0% Dairy Steers, 83% Cows, 17% Bulls); 8% Replacement Cattle (1% Stock Cows, 51% Bred Cows, 8% Bred Heifers, 40% Cow-Calf Pairs, 1% Bulls). Feeder cattle supply over 600 lbs was 26%.
