Compared to last week, feeder steers and heifers were mostly steady to 2.00-3.00 higher with buyers showing the most interest in longweaned, preconditioned cattle. Slaughter cows were 2.00-4.00 higher and slaughter bulls 5.00 higher with good demand for slaughter classes.

Supply included: 79% Feeder Cattle (38% Steers, 0% Dairy Steers, 48% Heifers, 13% Bulls); 15% Slaughter Cattle (89% Cows, 11% Bulls); 5% Replacement Cattle (78% Bred Cows, 3% Bred Heifers, 19% Cow-Calf Pairs). Feeder cattle supply over 600 lbs was 42%.
