Compared to last week, feeder steers and heifers were unevenly steady on a light test with mostly moderate demand. Slaughter cows and bulls were mostly steady on a limited test. Lighter offerings prevalent this week due to the Memorial Holiday weekend as well as hay cutting in full swing.

Supply included: 81% Feeder Cattle (31% Steers, 1% Dairy Steers, 48% Heifers, 20% Bulls); 13% Slaughter Cattle (0% Steers, 83% Cows, 16% Bulls); 6% Replacement Cattle (73% Bred Cows, 1% Bred Heifers, 22% Cow-Calf Pairs, 3% Bulls). Feeder cattle supply over 600 lbs was 35%.
