Compared to last week, feeder steers and heifers were unevenly steady with moderate to good demand, and the best demand noted for long-weaned, preconditioned cattle. Slaughter cows and bulls were mostly steady to 3.00 higher with moderate to good demand.

Supply included: 79% Feeder Cattle (32% Steers, 43% Heifers, 25% Bulls, 0% Dairy Heifers); 13% Slaughter Cattle (0% Steers, 83% Cows, 17% Bulls, 0% Dairy Heifers); 8% Replacement Cattle (3% Stock Cows, 61% Bred Cows, 7% Bred Heifers, 27% Cow-Calf Pairs, 1% Bulls). Feeder cattle supply over 600 lbs was 32%.
