Compared to last week slaughter steers were 2.00 to 4.00 higher and slaughter heifers 3.00 to 5.00 higher and a good offering of slaughter steers and heifers with higher packer inquiry this week. No Holstein slaughter steers last to compare. Cows and bulls were too few last week but, both were trending higher. Feeder calves had a light test last last week but all feeder were trending steady to higher today.

Supply included: 14% Feeder Cattle (35% Steers, 30% Heifers, 35% Bulls); 86% Slaughter Cattle (24% Steers, 9% Dairy Steers, 53% Heifers, 10% Cows, 3% Bulls, 0% Bullocks). Feeder cattle supply over 600 lbs was 37%.
