Compared to last week, Slaughter steers and heifers were 1.00 higher with still good value on higher quality steers and heifers. No Holstein slaughter steers today. Cows were 1.00 to 3.00 higher with active bidding today and bulls 1.00 lower this week. Feeder steers were trending higher and feeder heifers 1.00 to 8.00 higher with feeder bulls sharply higher with a good offering of fancy type feeders and active buyer participation.

Supply included: 41% Feeder Cattle (27% Steers, 35% Heifers, 38% Bulls); 59% Slaughter Cattle (22% Steers, 35% Heifers, 37% Cows, 6% Bulls). Feeder cattle supply over 600 lbs was 42%.
