Compared to last week, slaughter steers were 1.00 higher with slaughter heifers 1.00 to 2.00 higher with a good offering today. Holsteins too few to compare. Cows were 1.00 to 3.00 higher with bulls steady to firm. Feeder steers were 6.00 to 8.00 higher with feeder heifers sharply higher and feeder bulls significantly higher.
Supply included: 18% Feeder Cattle (34% Steers, 45% Heifers, 21% Bulls); 82% Slaughter Cattle (32% Steers, 0% Dairy Steers, 39% Heifers, 25% Cows, 4% Bulls). Feeder cattle supply over 600 lbs was 52%.
