Compared to last week, slaughter steers and heifers were 1.00 higher with active buyer participation today. Cows were 1.00 lower with bulls 1.00 to 2.00 lower. No comparison on Holstein slaughter steers this week. All classes of feeder calves were trading uneven with instances of higher/lower.

Supply included: 30% Feeder Cattle (15% Steers, 44% Heifers, 41% Bulls); 70% Slaughter Cattle (27% Steers, 0% Dairy Steers, 38% Heifers, 31% Cows, 3% Bulls, 0% Dairy Heifers). Feeder cattle supply over 600 lbs was 51%.
