Compared to last week, slaughter steers and heifers had instances of higher/lower with a good offering and active buyer participation. Holstein slaughter steers were trending higher with Holstein slaughter heifers 7.00 higher. Cows were trading uneven with bulls 3.00 lower. Feeder steers were trending higher with feeder heifers sharply higher and feeder bulls 3.00 to 7.00 lower this week.

Supply included: 25% Feeder Cattle (15% Steers, 1% Dairy Steers, 36% Heifers, 47% Bulls); 75% Slaughter Cattle (36% Steers, 6% Dairy Steers, 27% Heifers, 23% Cows, 4% Bulls, 2% Dairy Heifers). Feeder cattle supply over 600 lbs was 30%.
