Compared to last week, slaughter steers were 1.00 to 4.00 lower with slaughter heifers 2.00 lower with a light offering this week. Holstein slaughter steers were 3.00 higher today. Cows were 5,00 to 8.00 higher with bulls 3.00 lower. Feeder steers were sharply higher with feeder heifers trending higher and feeder bulls 10.00 higher.

Supply included: 28% Feeder Cattle (43% Steers, 7% Dairy Steers, 37% Heifers, 13% Bulls); 72% Slaughter Cattle (29% Steers, 10% Dairy Steers, 10% Heifers, 42% Cows, 6% Bulls, 3% Dairy Heifers). Feeder cattle supply over 600 lbs was 66%.
