Compared to last week slaughter steers had instances of higher/lower with slaughter heifers 1.00 to 6.00 higher with still good value on high quality steers and heifers. No Holstein slaughter steers this week. Cows were 1.00 higher with bulls 5.00 higher with a light test of cows and bulls today. All classes of feeder calves were trending lower but good value on Holstein feeder steers and heifers.

Supply included: 50% Feeder Cattle (4% Steers, 59% Dairy Steers, 11% Heifers, 3% Bulls, 22% Dairy Heifers); 50% Slaughter Cattle (72% Steers, 19% Heifers, 7% Cows, 2% Bulls); 1% Replacement Cattle (100% Bred Cows). Feeder cattle supply over 600 lbs was 9%.
