Compared to last week, slaughter steers were had instances of higher/lower with slaughter heifers mostly steady with a good offering of steers and heifers today. Holstein slaughter steers were 4.00 to 14.00 higher this week with another good offering of Holstein steers. Cows were 3.00 to 6.00 lower with a good offering and bulls trending higher. Feeder steers were firm to steady with feeder heifers sharply lower and feeder bulls too few to compare.

Supply included: 17% Feeder Cattle (14% Steers, 19% Dairy Steers, 7% Heifers, 1% Bulls, 59% Dairy Heifers); 83% Slaughter Cattle (16% Steers, 20% Dairy Steers, 35% Heifers, 28% Cows, 2% Bulls, 0% Bullocks). Feeder cattle supply over 600 lbs was 6%.
