Compared to last week, slaughter steers and heifers were 1.00 to 2.00 higher with a good offering of high quality steers and heifers with active bidding. Holstein slaughter steers were 1.00 to 3.00 higher this week. Cows had instances of higher/lower with a good offering and bulls 4.00 lower. All classes of feeder calves were trending lower with a light offering this week.

Supply included: 4% Feeder Cattle (25% Steers, 20% Dairy Steers, 40% Heifers, 15% Bulls); 96% Slaughter Cattle (43% Steers, 4% Dairy Steers, 33% Heifers, 19% Cows, 1% Bulls). Feeder cattle supply over 600 lbs was 65%.
