Compared to last week, slaughter steers were 2.00 lower with slaughter heifers 1.00 to 2.00 lower this week. Holstein slaughter steers were 1.00 to 3.00 lower with another good offering of steers and Holstein slaughter heifers 1.00 lower. Cows had instances of higher/lower with active buyer participation and bulls 5.00 lower this week. Feeder steers were too few to compare today with feeder heifers 3,00 higher and feeder bulls sharply higher today.

Supply included: 13% Feeder Cattle (18% Steers, 65% Heifers, 18% Bulls); 87% Slaughter Cattle (18% Steers, 21% Dairy Steers, 15% Heifers, 41% Cows, 3% Bulls, 1% Dairy Heifers, 0% Bullocks). Feeder cattle supply over 600 lbs was 72%.
