Compared to last week, slaughter steers were 2.00 to 3.00 lower with slaughter heifers 1.00 to 3.00 lower with a lighter offering this week. Holstein slaughter steers were 1.00 to 3.00 higher today. Cows had instances of higher/lower with bulls 9.00 higher today. All classes of feeder calves were sharply higher with with active buyer participation.

Supply included: 21% Feeder Cattle (42% Steers, 42% Heifers, 16% Bulls); 77% Slaughter Cattle (15% Steers, 27% Dairy Steers, 24% Heifers, 22% Cows, 7% Bulls, 5% Dairy Heifers); 2% Replacement Cattle (100% Bred Cows). Feeder cattle supply over 600 lbs was 56%.
