Compared to last week, slaughter steers were unevenly steady with higher quality steers trending higher and slaughter heifers 2.00 lower with a good offering today. Holstein slaughter steers were 1.00 to 3.00 higher with another good offering today. Cows had instances of higher/lower and bulls 4.00 higher this week. Feeder steers were too few today to compare with feeder heifers mostly steady and feeder bulls trending higher and a good offering of Holstein feeders this week.

Supply included: 23% Feeder Cattle (1% Steers, 29% Dairy Steers, 38% Heifers, 18% Bulls, 15% Dairy Heifers); 77% Slaughter Cattle (43% Steers, 17% Dairy Steers, 30% Heifers, 5% Cows, 3% Bulls, 0% Dairy Heifers, 1% Bullocks). Feeder cattle supply over 600 lbs was 21%.
