Compared to last week slaughter steers were 1.00 to 2.00 lower with slaughter heifers 6.00 higher with higher quality heifers this week. Holstein slaughter steers were 2.00 lower and slaughter Holstein heifers trending higher. Cows were 1.00 to 5.00 lower and bulls 1.00 lower today. Feeder steers and feeder heifers were too few last week to compare but lighter weight steers and heifers were at a good value this week with feeder bulls too few today.

Supply included: 27% Feeder Cattle (29% Steers, 2% Dairy Steers, 65% Heifers, 3% Bulls, 2% Dairy Heifers); 73% Slaughter Cattle (50% Steers, 2% Dairy Steers, 22% Heifers, 19% Cows, 2% Bulls, 4% Dairy Heifers). Feeder cattle supply over 600 lbs was 53%.
