Compared to last week slaughter steers were 3.00 to 6.00 higher and slaughter heifers 2.00 higher with better packer inquiry today. No Holstein slaughter steers this week. Cows significantly higher and bulls had a light test today but trending higher. Feeder steers and heifers were trending lower and bulls had a lower offering but trending higher.

Supply included: 12% Feeder Cattle (45% Steers, 45% Heifers, 10% Bulls); 88% Slaughter Cattle (68% Steers, 25% Heifers, 6% Cows, 0% Bulls, 0% Bullocks). Feeder cattle supply over 600 lbs was 60%.
