Compared to last week, not enough feeder steers 400 lb to 925 lb for a market test, however a higher trend was noted. Not enough heifers 350 lb to 900 lb for a market test, however a higher trend was noted. Thin fleshed and reputation cattle sold at a premium. Demand was good. Slaughter cows and bulls sold 3.00 to 4.00 higher.
Supply included: 72% Feeder Cattle (46% Steers, 54% Heifers); 27% Slaughter Cattle (86% Cows, 14% Bulls); 2% Replacement Cattle (92% Stock Cows, 8% Cow-Calf Pairs). Feeder cattle supply over 600 lbs was 65%.
