Compared to last week, feeder steers 500 lb to 950 lb sold steady to 2.00 lower. Feeder heifers 500 lb to 800 lb sold steady to 2.00 lower, however thin fleshed cattle sold 5.00 to 6.00 higher. Demand was good on thin fleshed cattle. Not enough 400 lb to 500 lb steer and heifer calves for a market test, however a lower trend was noted. Compared to 2 weeks ago, slaughter cows and bulls sold steady to 2.00 higher.

Supply included: 71% Feeder Cattle (65% Steers, 33% Heifers, 1% Bulls); 24% Slaughter Cattle (96% Cows, 4% Bulls); 4% Replacement Cattle (48% Stock Cows, 6% Bred Cows, 45% Cow-Calf Pairs). Feeder cattle supply over 600 lbs was 80%.
