Compared to last week, not enough feeder steers and heifers 400 lb to 950 for a market test, however a higher trend was noted. Demand was good. Slaughter cows sold steady. Slaughter bulls sold steady, however. one high yielding bull sold for 120.50
Supply included: 81% Feeder Cattle (66% Steers, 34% Heifers, 0% Bulls); 18% Slaughter Cattle (96% Cows, 4% Bulls); 1% Replacement Cattle (100% Stock Cows). Feeder cattle supply over 600 lbs was 83%.
