Compared to last week, feeder steers 700 lb to 950 lb sold 2.00 to 4.00 higher. Steers 950 lb to 1100 lb sold 4.00 to 6.00 higher. Steer calves 500 lb to 700 lb sold steady. No recent comparison on steers under 500 lb. Feeder heifers 550 lb to 800 lb sold 2.00 to 4.00 higher. Heifers 800 lb to 925 lb sold 5.00 to 6.00 higher. No recent comparison on heifer calves 400 lb to 550 lb, however a lower trend was noted. Demand was good. Slaughter cows and bulls sold steady.
Supply included: 94% Feeder Cattle (43% Steers, 57% Heifers, 0% Bulls); 6% Slaughter Cattle (88% Cows, 12% Bulls); 0% Replacement Cattle (100% Bred Cows). Feeder cattle supply over 600 lbs was 96%.
