Compared to last week, no recent price comparison on steer and heifer calves under 500 lbs; 500 to 600 lb steers sold 4.00 to 5.00 higher; over 600 lb steers were uneven, 1.00 lower to 2.00 higher. Heifers over 500 lbs sold steady to 2.00 higher. Slaughter cows and bulls sold steady to 3.00 higher. Fed cattle trade in the Southern Plains sold 1.00 higher at mostly 114.00.

Supply included: 96% Feeder Cattle (62% Steers, 37% Heifers, 0% Bulls); 3% Slaughter Cattle (89% Cows, 11% Bulls); 2% Replacement Cattle (84% Bred Cows, 16% Bred Heifers). Feeder cattle supply over 600 lbs was 79%.
