Compared to last week, steers under 850 lbs not well tested; over 850 lbs sold steady to 3.00 higher. Heifers under 750 not well tested; over 750 lbs sold steady to 2.00 higher. Slaughter cows and bulls were thinly traded and sold on a higher undertone. Winter weather across the state hampered livestock movement and is expected to hinder transportation into the following week.

Supply included: 72% Feeder Cattle (58% Steers, 39% Heifers, 3% Bulls); 3% Slaughter Cattle (94% Cows, 6% Bulls); 25% Replacement Cattle (91% Bred Cows, 9% Bred Heifers). Feeder cattle supply over 600 lbs was 91%.
