Compared to last week, all weights of steers and heifers under 800 lbs sold 3.00 to 8.00 lower. Heifers over 800 lbs sold steady to 2.00 higher. Slaughter cows and bulls sold steady to 3.00 lower. Demand was reported as moderate to good throughout the state. Compared to last week, fed slaughter steers and heifers in the feed yards sold 1.00 lower at 172.00. In the hay market: Compared to the last report demand remains good, prices remained steady, trade activity remains slow. Some good news was received last week by many and it came in the form of liquid precipitation!

Supply included: 65% Feeder Cattle (57% Steers, 43% Heifers, 1% Bulls); 8% Slaughter Cattle (86% Cows, 14% Bulls); 27% Replacement Cattle (7% Stock Cows, 36% Bred Cows, 3% Bred Heifers, 32% Cow-Calf Pairs, 22% Heifer Pairs, 0% Bulls). Feeder cattle supply over 600 lbs was 75%.
