Compared to last week, feeder steers overall sold 2.00 to 3.00 lower. Feeder heifers weighing less than 600 lbs sold 4.00 higher, while those weighing more than 600 lbs sold steady to 2.00 lower. Slaughter cows sold 3.00 to 5.00 lower. Slaughter bulls sold 7.00 to 8.00 lower. Demand was moderate. Compared to last week, fed slaughter steers and heifers in the feedyards sold steady to 2.00 higher at 142.00 . Compared to last week, hay market prices remained mostly steady for alfalfa and grass hay; movement remains slow.

Supply included: 81% Feeder Cattle (55% Steers, 45% Heifers, 1% Bulls); 5% Slaughter Cattle (91% Cows, 9% Bulls); 14% Replacement Cattle (4% Stock Cows, 78% Bred Cows, 13% Bred Heifers, 4% Cow-Calf Pairs, 1% Heifer Pairs, 1% Bulls). Feeder cattle supply over 600 lbs was 79%.
