Compared to last week, feeder steers overall sold 3.00 to 5.00 higher. Feeder heifers weighing less than 700 lbs sold 6.00 to 7.00 higher, while those weighing over 700 lbs sold steady to 3.00 higher. Slaughter cows sold 8.00 to 9.00 higher on a light test. Slaughter bulls sold 2.00 to 4.00 higher on a light test. Demand was good for a light sale supply. Compared to last week, Fed Slaughter Steers and Heifers in the feedyards sold 3.00 to 4.00 higher at 139.00 to 140.00 . Compared to the last report, hay market prices remained steady for alfalfa and grass hay; movement remains slow.

Supply included: 98% Feeder Cattle (58% Steers, 42% Heifers, 0% Bulls); 2% Slaughter Cattle (90% Cows, 10% Bulls); 0% Replacement Cattle (100% Bred Heifers). Feeder cattle supply over 600 lbs was 78%.
