Compared to last week: Feeder steers and heifers sold steady to instances 4.00 higher. Trade activity was moderate on moderate to good demand. Winter wheat pastures are turning green after recent rain, which is a relief after the summer drought. Slaughter cows and bulls were steady.

Supply included: 96% Feeder Cattle (56% Steers, 37% Heifers, 7% Bulls); 4% Slaughter Cattle (93% Cows, 7% Bulls); 0% Replacement Cattle (100% Cow-Calf Pairs). Feeder cattle supply over 600 lbs was 62%.
