Market Notes

Compared to last week: Stocker calves sold 2.00 to 5.00 higher. Yearlings were not well tested last week. Demand was good for yearlings and stockers as pastures are green with chances for more rain into the weekend. Slaughter cows and bulls sold 3.00 to 5.00 higher.

Supply included: 95% Feeder Cattle (53% Steers, 38% Heifers, 8% Bulls); 4% Slaughter Cattle (91% Cows, 9% Bulls); 1% Replacement Cattle (100% Stock Cows). Feeder cattle supply over 600 lbs was 35%.
