Market Notes

Compared to last week: Not enough comparable sales for a market trend. Light weight stocker calves sold with a higher undertone. Trade activity was light to moderate on moderate demand. Parts of the panhandle received some much needed snow yesterday, but also hampered cattle movement.

Supply included: 96% Feeder Cattle (24% Steers, 67% Heifers, 9% Bulls); 1% Slaughter Cattle (90% Cows, 10% Bulls); 3% Replacement Cattle (100% Stock Cows). Feeder cattle supply over 600 lbs was 63%.
