Market Notes

Compared to last week: Feeder steers and heifers traded mostly steady on limited comparable sales. Trade activity was light to moderate on moderate demand. The area had its first frost over night, and buyer's were extra cautious on cattle that were not pre-conditioned as trying to avoid sickness. Slaughter cows and bulls sold steady.

Supply included: 94% Feeder Cattle (43% Steers, 2% Dairy Steers, 46% Heifers, 9% Bulls); 4% Slaughter Cattle (95% Cows, 5% Bulls); 2% Replacement Cattle (100% Bred Cows).
