Compared to last week: Feeder steers and heifers sold 2.00 to 6.00 lower on limited comparable sales. Trade activity and demand were moderate. Corn futures prices hovering around 7.00, which dampers the yearling market going to feedlots.
Supply included: 99% Feeder Cattle (73% Steers, 23% Heifers, 3% Bulls); 1% Slaughter Cattle (81% Cows, 19% Bulls). Feeder cattle supply over 600 lbs was 50%.
