Compared to last week: Feeder steers and heifers sold 2.00 to 3.00 higher. Trade activity was moderate on good demand. Triple digit heat returned to the area drying out the already drought plagued pastures. Fat cattle traded at 104.00 to 105.00 in the Southern Plains that boosted buyer's optimism. Slaughter cows and bulls were steady to weak.

Supply included: 98% Feeder Cattle (57% Steers, 36% Heifers, 6% Bulls); 1% Slaughter Cattle (77% Cows, 23% Bulls); 0% Replacement Cattle (100% Cow-Calf Pairs). Feeder cattle supply over 600 lbs was 52%.
