Compared to last week: Not enough feeder cattle for a market test. Trade activity was light on light to moderate demand. The trading area remains dry and with a bearish Cattle On Feed released on Friday, sellers have a "wait and see" attitude. Slaughter cows and bulls were steady to 2.00 lower.
Supply included: 89% Feeder Cattle (38% Steers, 54% Heifers, 7% Bulls); 7% Slaughter Cattle (92% Cows, 8% Bulls); 4% Replacement Cattle (100% Bred Cows). Feeder cattle supply over 600 lbs was 16%.
