Compared to last week: All classes of cattle traded steady on comparable sales. Trade activity was light to moderate on moderate demand. A cool off from triple digit temperatures but very little moisture across the panhandle.
Supply included: 80% Feeder Cattle (22% Steers, 68% Heifers, 11% Bulls); 8% Slaughter Cattle (89% Cows, 11% Bulls); 11% Replacement Cattle (100% Bred Cows). Feeder cattle supply over 600 lbs was 64%.
