Compared to last week slaughter cows traded 3.00-5.00 lower. Slaughter bulls traded steady. No recent comparison for the replacement portion of this sale as the last replacement sale was 45 days ago. Quality cattle were in demand for replacements. Supply was heavy with good demand.
Supply included: 54% Slaughter Cattle (86% Cows, 14% Bulls); 46% Replacement Cattle (29% Stock Cows, 33% Bred Cows, 15% Bred Heifers, 21% Cow-Calf Pairs, 1% Bulls).
