Compared to last week slaughter cows and slaughter bulls traded 2.00-4.00 lower with a heavy supply. The offering was made up with a high number of lean cows. Replacement cattle traded steady. Total supply was heavy with light demand for the slaughter classes and good demand for the replacement cattle.
Supply included: 87% Slaughter Cattle (93% Cows, 7% Bulls); 13% Replacement Cattle (17% Stock Cows, 59% Bred Cows, 10% Bred Heifers, 14% Cow-Calf Pairs).
