Compared to last week, steers and heifers sold 6.00-16.00 higher with most of the gains being in the offering over 600 lbs. Slaughter cows and bulls sold steady to 1.00 higher; Demand good and supply moderate.
Supply included: 83% Feeder Cattle (52% Steers, 36% Heifers, 12% Bulls); 16% Slaughter Cattle (91% Cows, 9% Bulls); 1% Replacement Cattle (58% Bred Cows, 42% Cow-Calf Pairs). Feeder cattle supply over 600 lbs was 43%.
