Compared to last week, a very light offering of feeder cattle were not well tested, with a nice offering of slaughter cattle and slaughter cows trading firm to 2.00 higher. There was one consignment of good quality 3-5 year old bred cows in the 2nd stage that sold with moderate demand.

Supply included: 43% Feeder Cattle (49% Steers, 49% Heifers, 2% Bulls); 43% Slaughter Cattle (30% Steers, 8% Dairy Steers, 15% Heifers, 39% Cows, 8% Bulls); 13% Replacement Cattle (92% Bred Cows, 8% Cow-Calf Pairs). Feeder cattle supply over 600 lbs was 57%.
