Compared to two weeks ago, steers under 500 lbs sold 5.00 to 8.00 higher; 550-650 lbs sold 3.00 to 5.00 higher; over 650 lbs were 6.00 to 9.00 higher. Heifers sold 5.00 to 8.00 higher. Demand was good to very good on moderate to heavy supply. Transportation of cattle was much better than last week 's curtailed receipts and volume was more in line with the seasonal runs. More moisture expected overnight into tomorrow, and followed by an Arctic blast that will bring temperatures below zero over the weekend and into the middle of next week.
